So, in order to get smoking hot (yea right:P)  i Went to the gym, worked out too much,  my body hurts :) 

Skiing will be challenging  tonight.

But it was ok, becouse instead i was in FL having an awesome time visiting rrruff , Jetskiing, beeing tough how to playing tennis and eating awesome french dinner and seafood :)  !  eating lots btw :P 


Now back at the office.. with may be 6 or  more people present today... . I don`t understand the excuse to be snowed in after 2 days of the  snowfall day...
I got lucky that Kelar saved me a spot to park last night when came back from the airport.. and some other folks made it to work... so !  where are you guys, its monday and time to be at the office !


Addendum #1: Work changed their vacation policy!  this is awesome ! More vacations = Happier Huskis. Before i had 40 hrs of sick time, since i VERY rarely get sick... they went unused. now they are PTO :)

18 inches now and the snow seems to be tapering off...

14 inches and counting.

So with a li'l coordination on Wednesday, we managed to arrange for a group of 9 to show up for the first ski of the season at Liberty last night. They don't have too much open yet, but the bar was definitely open, and there were enough trails to have some fun and shake off some cobwebs.

Conditions were actually really good; a few icy patches on some corners, a little uneven coverage, but no bare patches, and overall nicely packed snow.

I don't think abehusky or Iberian will be snowboarding again though, just skiing for those canines.

But the beer was cheap, the food tasty, and the skiing fun. Great way to start the season!

For being such an awesome critter, you get a BANANA STICKER ! Congrats !

A few good things happened this past week..

-won a PS3 at work, at the chrismas party, in a raffle. how about that :) Thank you work :)

-Im moving to my own apartment, close to work. This means NO MORE COMmUTE ! It is small, but is very nice and they let me keep the fritz in it. Unfortunately is expensive, but everything comes with a price.
But it is in an awesome neighborhood, full of shops and even a brewery ! i can walk 1 block and get home made beer...

Looking forward my new habitat !

Had a blast at the Trans Siberian Orchestra show last night. The first act was their first Christmas album, so songs everyone's heard overplayed on the radio year after year. Still nice to hear it tied in together with their storyline. Act 2 was primarily from their new album, and jumped all over the place (Christmas Canon to some evil sounding Latin song with flames shooting up everywhere, kinda odd transition), but still a lot of great music.

Overall an excellent time, and getting people from all over the area to the Verizon center in time for dinner before the show wasn't too bad.

Anyone want to try for a Caps game next month?
